July 17 - 18, 2010
Buffalo Grove is one of the most diverse and fastest-growing communities in the Chicagoland area, and The Buffalo Grove Invitational Fine Art Festival draws artists from a wide range of locations, including the United States, Canada and Israel. This year’s festival features a wonderfully chosen, juried group of approximately 150 artists: all thrilled to showcase their art to nearly 32,000 fest visitors.
At the Festival:
FESTIVE FOOD
Visitors may enjoy a variety of fare ranging from fresh fruit smoothies, Greek, ice cream, kettle korn and more. Local restaurants also operate continuously throughout the weekend.
CREATIVE AND EDUCATIONAL FUN
Free hands on art projects for children. Additionally, kids can go on a scavenger hunt through the festival looking for different types of art listed on a bingo card and then receive an “Official Art Explorer” sticker.
FREE ENTERTAINMENT
A variety of musical acts perform live throughout the festival weekend. From acoustic rock duo Cirrus Falcon to French guitarist Michelet Innocent to the smooth jazz of Pacific Coast Music, there’s melody air. There will also be musical performances by the Suzuki Academy youth group Saturday at 4:00 and by Buffalo Grove Limelight Cafe youth on Sunday at 4:00.
Join us in celebrating creativity!
