Launched in 2003, the annual Promenade of Art has quickly become a popular fine art and fine craft festival. Along quaint streets that showcase a collection of upscale residential buildings, boutiques, and a variety of eateries, 150 juried artists display their work for over 25,000 attendees. The festival is the perfect place to search for unique paintings, sculpture, fine jewelry, and even an eye catching silk scarf to spruce up the wardrobe.

CREATIVE AND EDUCATIONAL FUN

Free hands on art projects for children. Additionally, kids can go on a scavenger hunt through the festival looking for different types of art listed on a bingo card and then receive an “Official Art Explorer” sticker.

From the North

Interstate 90—Take I-90 south to the Arlington Heights Road North exit, which is just past the Highway 53 interchange. Take Arlington Heights Road north for approximately seven miles. Turn left on Sigwalt and proceed two blocks to Dunton. Turn right and continue to Campbell and the festival.

Interstate 294—Take I-294 south to the Willow Road West exit. Proceed on Willow Road to Arlington Heights Road and turn left. Continue approximately four miles to Sigwalt and turn right. Proceed two blocks to Dunton. Turn right and continue toward Campbell and the festival.

From the South

Interstate 90—Take I-90 north to the Arlington Heights Road North exit. Travel northbound on Arlington Heights Road for approximately seven miles. Turn left onto Sigwalt and proceed two blocks. Turn right on Dunton and continue to Campbell and the festival.

From the Southwest

Interstate 355—Take I-355 south to Highway 53 northbound. Exit Highway 53 at the Northwest Highway East exit. Travel approximately four miles to Dunton. Turn right onto Campbell and proceed to the festival.

Highway 53—Take Highway 53 to the Northwest Highway East exit and then travel approximately four miles eastward. Turn right on Dunton and proceed to Campbell and the festival.

PARKING:

Free public parking is available throughout the festival weekend in several commuter lots located along the downtown railroad line.
