Launched in 2003, the annual Promenade of Art has quickly become a popular annual fine art and fine craft venue. Along quaint streets that showcase a collection of upscale residential buildings, boutiques, and a variety of eateries, 150 juried artists display their work for over 25,000 attendees. The festival is the perfect place to search for unique paintings, sculpture, fine jewelry, and even an eye catching silk scarf to spruce up the wardrobe.

FESTIVE FOOD
Visitors enjoy a variety of fare ranging from fresh-squeezed lemonade, to sweets, snacks, sandwiches and more. Local restaurants operate continuously throughout the weekend.
CREATIVE AND EDUCATIONAL FUN
The festival also features live glass blowing demonstrations by Daniel M. Marder of Making Glass LLC studio and gallery. There will also be a variety of health related activities sponsored by Northwest Community Hospital. Come and paint a real car donated by Fields Auto in any color or design at our Paint-A-Car tent. Enjoy drawing and helping other kids at our Project Linus tent where kids can draw on fabric that will be made into quilts to be given to children in hospitals. This is a great opportunity for kids to have fun, creatively express themselves and help other kids all at the same time. For all ages there is Art Fest Bingo, where kids can search the art festival for images to match on their bingo card. Also, kids can come and draw with chalk in the middle of the festival at the closed
FREE ENTERTAINMENT
Throughout the weekend, live music and theatrics entertain the crowds. From acoustic rock duo Cirrus Falcon, to smooth jazz, there’s melody in the air.

DIRECTIONS:
From the North
Interstate 90—Take I-90 south to the Arlington Heights Road North exit, which is just past the Highway 53 interchange. Take Arlington Heights Road north for approximately seven miles. Turn left on Sigwalt and proceed two blocks to Dunton. Turn right and continue to Campbell and the festival.
Interstate 294—Take I-294 south to the Willow Road West exit. Proceed on Willow Road to Arlington Heights Road and turn left. Continue approximately four miles to Sigwalt and turn right. Proceed two blocks to Dunton. Turn right and continue toward Campbell and the festival.
From the South
Interstate 90—Take I-90 north to the Arlington Heights Road North exit. Travel northbound on Arlington Heights Road for approximately seven miles. Turn left onto Sigwalt and proceed two blocks. Turn right on Dunton and continue to Campbell and the festival.
From the Southwest
Interstate 355—Take I-355 south to Highway 53 northbound. Exit Highway 53 at the Northwest Highway East exit. Travel approximately four miles to Dunton. Turn right onto Campbell and proceed to the festival.
Highway 53—Take Highway 53 to the Northwest Highway East exit and then travel approximately four miles eastward. Turn right on Dunton and proceed to Campbell and the festival.
PARKING:
Free public parking is available throughout the festival weekend in several commuter lots located along the downtown railroad line.
